From September 15–18, 2025, Etichub took part in the 35th IFSCC Congress in Cannes, the leading international event for cosmetic research and scientific innovation in the beauty sector.
As part of the session dedicated to Well Aging & Longevity, we presented the poster “A New Tool for the Evaluation of Skin Barrier Overall Wellbeing” at the Foyer Debussy – Zone F, Poster n. 1689.
The study introduced a new approach to skin barrier testing, essential to understanding skin health and supporting the development and validation of cosmetic products that are increasingly effective and high-performing.
Research and innovation for the cosmetics industry
The scientific contribution was presented by Prof. Paola Perugini, Scientific Director of Etichub. The aim of the work was to propose innovative and advanced tools for the evaluation of skin wellbeing and overall wellbeing, designed to address the latest needs of the cosmetics sector: promoting skin longevity and enabling highly personalized treatments.
Thanks to our expertise, we can deeply characterize different skin types, identify meaningful correlations – such as the relationship with ceramides – and integrate these findings into analysis models that provide the foundation for a scientifically robust and reliable evaluation of both skin and cosmetic products.
Our presence at the congress
Participation in the congress offered an important opportunity to engage with the international scientific community, fostering the exchange of knowledge and perspectives on skin barrier, well aging, and innovative cosmetic testing methodologies.
