Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files that are downloaded to the User’s device when visiting a website. At each subsequent visit, cookies are sent back to the website that originated them (first-party cookies) or to another site that recognizes them (third-party cookies). Cookies allow a website to recognize the User’s device. They have various purposes such as, for example, allowing efficient navigation between pages, remembering favorite sites and, in general, improving the browsing experience.

1. Type of cookies

Cookies can be first or third party, where “first party” means cookies that have our site as a domain, while “third party” means cookies that are related to external domains. Third party cookies are necessarily installed by an external party, always defined as “third party”, not managed by the site.

2. Nature of cookies

Regarding the nature of cookies, there are different types:

2.1 Technical cookies
Cookies defined as technical are used for the sole purpose of “carrying out the transmission of a communication on an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide such service”. They are not used for other purposes and are normally installed directly by the owner or manager of the website and can be divided into:
– navigation or session cookies, which guarantee normal navigation and use of the website (allowing, for example, to make a purchase or authenticate to access reserved areas); they are in fact necessary for the correct functioning of the site;
– analytics cookies, assimilated to technical cookies when used directly by the site manager to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site itself, in order to improve the performance of the site;
– functionality cookies, which allow the user to navigate according to a series of selected criteria (for example, the language, the products selected for purchase) in order to improve the service provided to the user. The prior consent of users is not required for the installation of these cookies.

2.2 Profiling cookies
Profiling cookies are designed to create profiles relating to the user and are used to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user while browsing the internet. The consent of the interested party is required for the use of profiling cookies. According to the provision of the Guarantor, the user can authorize or deny consent to the installation of cookies.

2.3 Third-party cookies
Third-party analysis cookies are used to collect information on the use of the site by users in anonymous form (pages visited, time spent, origins of the traffic of origin, geographic origin, age, gender and interests) to define marketing campaigns. These cookies are sent from third-party domains, external to our site. In the case of third-party cookies, the site does not have direct control over individual cookies and cannot control them (it cannot install them directly or delete them). You can still manage these cookies through your browser settings (follow the instructions below).

3. Cookies installed on this site

3.1 Technical cookies
Technical cookies are those whose use does not require the User’s consent. Among these technical cookies, we highlight essential cookies, also called “strictly necessary”, which enable functions, without which it would not be possible to fully use the website. Essential cookies include session cookies, used to manage authentication to online services and reserved areas and which allow safe and efficient exploration of the website. Essential cookies cannot be disabled, because this action would prevent the use of online services and/or navigation. Technical cookies also include monitoring cookies, used to statistically analyze accesses or visits to the site, also called “analytics”. They pursue exclusively statistical purposes (but not marketing or profiling) and collect information in aggregate form without the possibility of tracing the identification of the individual user. These cookies can be deactivated and/or deleted through the browser settings.

3.2 Third-party cookies
In this case, the site does not have direct control over individual cookies (it cannot install them directly or delete them). You can still manage these cookies through your browser settings (follow the instructions below).
